What I'm Reading: Whispers of Rest

Happy Monday, friends! I’m coming at ya with my very first book review this morning! I’m a MAJOR bookworm of both christian and non-christian books and would love to share some of my favorites with you! It is my goal to share a book that I have read recently (or reread.. Anyone else love to do that??) once a month so you can add to your library!

Monday Morning Meeting

I guess we must look like we’ve been married for a decent amount of time because lately we keep getting asked from newly engaged or married friends what our number one marriage advice would be. I think we would have both said different things over the last few years, but for once we are 100% confident and on the same page about what that advice should be.

Pajama Party

This is not just for mamas in the room. Maybe you’re a college kid or you work from home. Maybe you’re an empty nester or you only work outside of the house a few days a week. Anniston is ONE.

One day that changed all my days. I became a mom. I became a mom to the most beautiful and darling little thing my eyes had ever seen. Anniston's Birth Story

Many of you may not be interested in birth stories, but a fellow mom once told me that there is a small mom audience out there that loves this stuff and I couldn't agree more! I personally LOVE reading birth stories! Is that weird? I joke with my OB that I should have gone into that field because I think birth is amazing and got slightly obsessed with it for a short time. Don't judge.

Happy New Year!

There is something so refreshing about a new year. It feels like anything is possible... or at least it does for the first few days. I don't know about you, but I am REALLY great at making goals. Like I could be a professional goal maker. But following through with those goals? That's a different story. You should see my resolutions from last year. I was 11 days shy of having our baby girl and apparently thought I'd be conquering the world while also taking on motherhood. If I wasn't so embarrassed I'd post a picture of the list I wrote. Seriously laughable.
