NURSERY TOUR

Hi Friends!

Our sweet Elliott is officially three months old! I love and miss the newborn days already, but I also love the joys that come at the three month mark! When babies hit three months it’s no longer considered life threatening if they get a fever. Which basically means I can chill out the slightest bit about germs. I said SLIGHTEST… I’ll still be keeping the hand sanitizer companies in business for the foreseeable future. ;) They also start interacting more with you and Elliott is smiling all the time now! We are having so much fun with her as she explores this new world outside of mama’s belly!

It took me a little longer to finish this time around, but I LOVED decorating Elliott’s nursery! I still wanted it to be feminine, but different than Anniston’s. I love the way it turned out! You can find links at the bottom of this post for everything we used in the nursery!

(I was going to include my fourth trimester journey and favorite baby products in this post as well, but the post started turning into a novel! Ha! I am going to split those up into separate posts and share soon!)

But first up, let’s talk about this little cutie!

ELLIOTT GRACE FIDELL - THREE MONTHS

You guys, I am not lying when I say DREAM BABY. This girl is all chill all the time! I love how both of my girls continue to teach me things daily and Elliott has definitely taught me to slow down, relax, and soak it all up. She is most content on her back just looking around and smiles the minute you make eye contact with her. She goes with the flow as we follow her sister around the house and takes Anniston’s big hugs like a champ. ;)

She is so strong and holds her head up easily during tummy time and has been rolling from her stomach to her back for a few weeks. She also just rolled from her back to her stomach in the last week so we dropped her swaddle for safety and has handled that transition great! She weighs a little over 11 pounds putting her around the 18th percentile and is exclusively breastfed, but just had her first bottle last week!

She is sleeping 12 hours at night and takes three 1.5-2 hour naps during the day. I get asked about her schedule all the time so I’ll share a quick look at where we’re at right now. It has changed many times in the last three months since a baby develops so much during this time, but we will probably be on this schedule for the next three months. We use “Moms On Call” (see here), which I get asked about all the time so I will definitely be posting about our experience with that soon! I was pretty strict with Anniston’s schedule, but I am definitely a lot more flexible with Elliott. The schedule below is an outline of what we try to do, but it definitely doesn’t always look like this!

Elliott’s Three Month Schedule:

7:30 am - Up for the day, Breastfeed, & Play (sometimes she wakes up a little before 7:30 and sometimes I have to wake her up if she’s not up by 8:00am)

9:00 am - Nap

10:30 am - Breastfeed & Play

12:00 pm - Nap

1:30 pm - Breastfeed & Play

3:00 pm - Nap

4:30 pm - Breastfeed & Play

6:00 pm - 30 minute catnap

7:00 pm - Bathtime, stories, and songs

7:30 pm - Breastfeed and straight to bed

Whenever we hear her cry we are truly caught off guard because it is such a rare occurrence. We know this is a blessing and I thank God for her sweet demeanor everyday (and I also pray it doesn’t change! Ha!). I was truly terrified I wasn’t going to be able to love another human being as much as I love Anniston, but what all the moms say is true, your heart literally grows in size! She smiles at me and I’m a puddle! She just started making her first little attempts at laughing and I know I am done for! We are loving every moment with this sweet girl and as much as I want time to standstill, I also can’t wait to watch her grow!

Here are a few more photos with all of her nursery details! We were able to reuse many of the big items from Anniston’s room, and then got a few new things to make it her own! I’ll share all of the links at the bottom of this post! I hope you like it as much as I do!
